Good to know
The home connects the indoors and outdoors seamlessly so no matter where you are - you are enjoying our massive mountain views. The bunk room and downstairs guest room are off the main living area and share an exterior accessed bathroom.
Accessed from the ground floor is the main deck which contains a full sized outdoor dining table with seating for 8 (plus a backup side table for extra seating or buffet service), the covered outdoor porch area with egg chairs, and a tucked away grill area.
The second story primary suite is truly the main event with massive, elevated long-range views and ever-changing sunrises. Accessed through the primary bathroom or the "secret" bookshelf door, the 4th bedroom (Queen) is a cozy place of solitude with excellent mountain views. It should be noted that while the two upstairs rooms are somewhat connected, the "secret" room can be accessed without disrupting the privacy of the primary suite.
The ground level of the rear of the house offers access to the firepit patio as well as an outdoor shower - not to be overlooked after a long day of hiking and exploring!

Beautiful spacious home with Mountain View’s, close to downtown Highlands and Cashiers. Provides great amenities at home and has everything you would need. Would definitely stay again. Perfect home for a group or large family.

Breathtaking views. Luxurious accommodations. Gracious hosts. Our Whiteside Perch experience was the calm, peaceful serenity we needed to not only experience the Highlands lifestyle but also be mesmerized by the ever changing direct Mountain View’s, even in February. Booked for a girls’ trip and it was everything we wanted and needed! Spectacular views, comfortable bedding, great layout! Hosts were very helpful and highly responsive. Highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat! Honestly the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had.

We LOVED the home in Highlands. Beautiful views and plenty of space. We enjoyed being able to have the great views from anywhere in the house. It rained pretty much the entire time we were there so we spent a lot of time in the home. Will book again to be able to enjoy the porches, hammock, and fire pit!
